The two virtues of expectation and hope are the qualities that can make possible what is unimaginable in every way. The Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, who has been in superb form since last week’s Austrian GP, is currently in the middle of this very same scenario. Nevertheless, after making a full circle at the Silverstone, Carlos Sainz is now preparing to recreate a remarkable achievement after a year. And with Mclaren’s revival and his teammate’s class, can the Spanish driver repeat the feat?
As the vehicles began to return to the circuit during the British Grand Prix after the Red Flag, Carlos Sainz was ordered to give way to his teammate. Sainz complied with the request, however, expressed his displeasure over the team radio. Later, when the line began their final timed efforts, the Spanish driver sneaked around Charles Leclerc to retake track position. After that, Leclerc was noticed giving his teammate a sarcastic tone as the Spanish driver attempted another record achievement at the circuit after an entire year.
While Leclerc seemed to grasp the Spanish driver’s intentions as he was afterward heard remarking, “Nice, Carlos, nice. Good overtake in the last corner.” Being aware that the Silverstone is the same place where the Spanish driver won the race last year after winning the pole. Although eventually, Leclerc finished the qualifying by just 0.012 seconds at P4, ahead of Sainz, the 28-year-old still has some realistic expectations.

At the Austrian Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz was found to be dissatisfied with the team’s directives against him. Although the Spanish driver appeared to be on edge at that point in the race, Carlos Sainz was told to stay behind Leclerc. However, penalties and slow stops made his drive difficult.
Again, the team favored Leclerc at Silverstone at the pit stop which had already made Leclerc frustrated since Sainz in a hurry overtook him. And post the qualifying, Leclerc was discovered explaining his displeasure. As per Crash.net, he said, “I had the choice here, and I decided to be in front, then at the end we were very tight on timing and it was very difficult for us to know whether we were going to get past or not before the flag and Carlos decided to overtake, which is not ideal, no big deal, with the adrenalin inside the car at that point you don’t know if you’re going to make it, yeah, the radio message was probably a bit more aggressive.”
