The French team failed to produce the same impact at the British track after their astounding performance at the Monaco streets where Esteban Ocon completed the day behind Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso with a podium in his bag and some crucial points to Alpine’s tally. However, despite the fact that their “Lucky Charms” was there during this mishap, the French squad didn’t take it lightly and instead sent a notice to their benevolent guide asking him to never join them again. The good fortunes subsequently appear to leave Alpine and join the already flourishing Red Bull. So what’s the deal?

Jeremy Clarkson, the star of Top Gear and The Grand Tour, has developed a good rapport with the French crew in recent months. He is the same guy who promised to buy 1000 beer bottles for the Alpine squad on Twitter during the race in Monaco where he wrote, “ Come on @AlpineF1Team I’ll buy you all a pint if you get a podium here.” garnering over 2.4 million witnesses. Clarkson kept his word and to personally deliver the beers he promised, he rode a tractor to Alpine’s facility in Enstone.

However, the same Clarkson has humorously suggested that he may think about providing his “mascot services” to Red Bull after witnessing that his presence might be the reason behind Alpine’s nightmares at Silverstone where both Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon weren’t able to finish the race.

And where at the time of the Jeddah, Clarkson had already criticized the “boring race” due to Verstappen and Red Bull’s dominance, he now believes in order to add some much-needed excitement to the 2023 season and counter the Dutchman’s and Red Bull’s continued dominance, Clarkson could go to the reigning World Champions.

The TV personality was viewed as a lucky charm when he arrived at Alpine’s camp as a guest during the British GP. However after the outcome went against the French team, they delivered an odd message to the TV star during their time of hospitality. In light of that Clarkson wrote,” I wrote afterwards to say thank you for the hospitality and have received a reply asking me never to join them again. Maybe I should offer my mascot services to Red Bull.”

Following the British GP mishaps, the French team now hopes to make significant progress at the upcoming race weekend as the team appears to be coming with a bag full of armories.

Alpine Looking to Boost Esteban Ocon & Pierre Gasly’s Confidence with New Upgrades

The Alpine was a team that faced off against McLaren in the midfield in the beginning stages of the season. While the Mclaren seems to compete with drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen thanks to the newest modifications of the Papaya army, the French squad’s remarkable performance, on the other hand, only lasted until the Monaco GP with Ocon’s on the podium.

The team is now ranked sixth in the constructor standings as a result of its drivers’ misfortunes at Silverstone. Given expectations and self-belief are common in the world of motorsports, Alpine team principal Otmar Szafnauer has offered some optimism for the upcoming race weekends.

As per F1 briefings, the Romanian American said after the British Grand Prix, “Our upgrades have been successful this year, and we have another significant one coming before the break. Our upgrades have been successful this year, and we have another significant one coming before the break.” While indicating a threat to its competitor, Szafnauer said, “When you add everything up, it’s all incremental, and I think we will perform well.”
