The Renault F1 team was rebranded as the Alpine F1 team from the 2021 season to establish a new meaning and new values ​​within the team. The ambition of the team was through the roof as a 5-year mark to challenge for the title was set. However, former executive director at Alpine, Marcin Budkowski revealed how the financial resources of the team did not match their ambition.

After Alpine was accused of these cheap antics of not putting in enough resources, the newly speculated Alpine boss, Mattia Binotto is believed to shake things up at the French team. @PG10_FanactuFr’s Tweet quoted Motorsport Italy and advised that Binotto will be bringing a handful of engineers and power unit specialists from Ferrari with him. It is further speculated that a significant salary increase along with economic benefits will push the Ferrari men to join the French stable.

As Peter Windsor talked about the possibility of Mattia Binotto joining Alpine to be interesting, the former Ferrari general manager took a jab at Alpine and suggested that the team is in shambles.

According to Peter Windsor’s YouTube video, he said, “Don’t know what to say about it really. It’s kind of sad because the history of Renault was always very nice. When they first came into Formula 1 – lovely team. They’ve always been pretty cool, haven’t they? In the Flavio era, they did pretty good stuff. But they seem to be very messy now.”
