Sebastian Vettel will don his Ferrari suit for the last time at the Abu Dhabi GP. The Italian manufacturers are parting ways with him after this race. Many in the Formula 1 community, including the driver and the team themselves, are paying tribute to their time together.
His teammate Charles Leclerc, who is indirectly responsible for his ouster, is not standing back either. The Monegasque wore a special helmet in the FP2 session of the race to honor Vettel. The words “danke Seb” which mean ‘thank you Seb’ in German are inscribed on the top.
Vettel appreciated the hearty gesture and said, “Today Charles rode with a helmet dedicated to me.

Sebastian Vettel looking to finish on a high with Ferrari
The former Red Bull driver has had a torrid time in SF1000 this season. He has been struggling for balance with the car, and has his work cut out ahead of him.
“We have completed a lot of work but I believe that there is still a lot to do. Because we have not yet managed to bring the tires into the ideal temperature window, especially the soft compound.”

The German has been a rare fixture in the final qualifying sessions this year. However, he is positive he can make the Q3 in Abu Dhabi.
“I think we will find ourselves fighting in the same positions as a week ago. If I manage to do a very good lap, I could also make it to Q3, which would be positive for my last race with the team.”
The ‘Prancing Horse’ and the Schumacher pupil would want to finish the season with aplomb. in what has otherwise been a hugely disappointing one for both of them. Hopefully, for the benefit of F1, both Vettel and Ferrari have better fortunes next season.
