Guess who’s back? Back again? Hamilton’s back, tell a friend.
Lewis Hamilton is back at the paddock and will race at the Yas Marina Circuit this weekend. He missed the last race because of coronavirus, as a result of which Mercedes had to loan George Russell from Williams to replace the world champion.
Everyone was expecting him to drive the Mercedes really well, and he surpassed everyone’s expectations last weekend.

Lewis Hamilton was in isolation throughout the Sakhir Grand Prix. However, on Thursday, Mercedes announced that Hamilton will be back for the last race of the season. The champion could not be happier to get back to doing what he loves.

It was heartbreaking to see Russell not win the race. However, that should not take away anything from the immense skill and talent he displayed last weekend. Even after a pit stop blunder that had him circle the pits twice within a lap, he raced his Silver Arrow to the second position.
Unfortunately, a rear puncture was Russell’s doom; he fell from P2 as he had to brace another pit stop. Russell deserved a win, but there was nothing he could do. Meanwhile, the question persisting was whether he would get another shot with Mercedes at Abu Dhabi.

However, he is back to driving for Williams this weekend. Russell must look forward to continuing the momentum and scoring the first points driving for Williams.
