One more race is all that remains for Sebastian Vettel in his time with Scuderia Ferrari. Many were taken aback when they first heard the news of the German’s contract not being renewed with the team.
Over time, however, various events have transpired and the one positive is that Vettel will still drive in Formula 1 next year. He has gotten his move to Racing Point, which will be rebranded as Aston Martin next season.
Ahead of his last race with Ferrari, Vettel has a few special words for the team and its famed ‘tifosi.’ Rest assured, he is aiming for a final flourish with the team and giving it his all one last time.

Sebastian Vettel reveals he will use a special helmet this weekend
Speaking to the team’s website, Vettel stated, “Abu Dhabi is a track that has never really suited our cars well so I am expecting it to be an interesting challenge.
“However, I will give my maximum, as always, and being my last race with the team, I hope we can enjoy it and get the best possible result.
“The years with Scuderia Ferrari have been a great journey in which together we have learned so much. There have been ups and downs and we have been close to winning the title twice but it was not to be.”
Indeed, the last five years have flown by with Vettel in one of the team’s cockpits. The 33-year-old had a fabulous chance to win the Drivers’ title in 2018, but eventually, it wasn’t meant to be.
The Ferrari driver continued and said, “I am happy that we have won 14 races together but for sure we wanted more.
“This weekend I will be using a special helmet to thank the team and all the tifosi for their great support over the last six years. “

Vettel came with a solid reputation during his move from Red Bull in 2015. Since then, he always aspired to add on to his tally of four Drivers’ titles and even came close a few times.
