The final race of the season is here, and the championship battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen will be settled at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen produced a scintillating lap in qualifying and will start on pole position for Sunday’s race. Arch-rival Lewis Hamilton will see the five-red lights from P2. McLaren’s Lando Norris surprised everyone by taking P3, while Sergio Perez starts P4. Carlos Sainz will be starting the race in P5, while Valtteri Bottas will start P6 for his final race for Mercedes.
Charles Leclerc will be starting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in P7, while, Japanese rookie Yuki Tsunoda starts his final race of the season in P8. Alpine’s Esteban Ocon will feature on P9, while his former teammate Daniel Ricciardo will start from P10.
Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso will see the five-red lights from P11, while AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly will start in P12. Lance Stroll starts P13, while Antonio Giovinazzi will start his final F1 race in P14.
Sebastian Vettel will have to settle for a disappointing P15 start, while Nicholas Latifi starts P16. George Russell will have his final race for Williams in P17. Kimi Raikkonen will start his final race in F1 in P18. Haas rookies Mick Schumacher, and Nikita Mazepin start the Abu Dhabi GP in P19 and P20, respectively.

Can Verstappen take home his first F1 title?

In the final qualifying session of the season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, it was Red Bull’s Verstappen who came out on top, beating his title rival Lewis Hamilton.
Starting on pole position, the Dutch driver will be hoping to take the chequered flag from start to finish with the goal to take home his maiden F1 title.
