Max Verstappen is indeed one of the growing sparks in Formula 1 and has garnered quite a massive fan-following from across the world, In part thanks to his insane rivalry with one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time, Lewis Hamilton. Amidst the rather long list of fans, the one that stands out is the ‘Orange’ army.

Being a Dutchman, Verstappen has drawn a group of Dutch fans following him all over the world for almost every race weekend in Europe and America. However, as F1 moved to the middle-east, there haven’t been many Orange T-shirts cheering for the Red Bull driver from the stands.

And one of the biggest reasons is the distance. The Netherlands is the westernmost country of the European continent. Hence, traveling from the Dutch land to Asia would cost a lot of effort, money, and time. Well, the fans don’t seem to care about such hindering factors for the upcoming race weekend in Abu Dhabi.

According to reports, the estimated number of fans set to show up at the grand finale event at Yas Marina stands at 5000. And this number is very much likely to grow further, thanks to the expectations of an electrifying race around the streets of Jeddah last weekend.

The hype around the upcoming title showdown says it all about the success of Formula 1 this season. Yes, both Hamilton and Verstappen have faced a lot of criticisms from the rival’s fans. However, on the outlook, their battles are the sole reason the entire world is awaiting the Abu Dhabi GP.
