Only days after the heartbreaking end to the 2021 F1 season, Charles, Prince of Wales, acknowledged Lewis Hamilton’s insane achievements as a racing driver and gifted the Briton the knighthood at Windsor Castle.

Hence, being a fashion aficionado himself, Hamilton had to approach the Prince flaunting the perfect outfit. Nothing fancy like he prefers wearing to the circuit ahead of the Grand Prix events but keeping it absolutely formal and adding a tinge of smartness.

And, well, the 7-time world championship managed to accomplish it with perfection.

What did Lewis Hamilton wear to the ceremony?

The Mercedes driver wore a Black suit with side buttons designed by famous British fashion designer, Wales Bonner. Beneath the jacket was a White shirt arriving from Dior, a French luxury fashion house. For footwear, Hamilton opted for Christian Louboutin’s Samson Black ankle boots.

Finally, a Brooch and Trinity Ring, both designed by Cartier another world-renowned French fashion company that primarily focuses on jewelry and watches.

Hamilton looked absolutely stunning during the ceremony as he bowed before taking a knee as a mark of respect for the Prince of Wales. And eventually, the medal arrived following which the duo had a few exchanges of words before Hamilton walked away.

It was indeed a proud moment for the entire motorsports community, as Hamilton is only the fourth driver to be earning ‘Sir’ before his name. Prior to the 7-time world champion, Jackie Stewart, Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham received a knighthood for their respective achievement in Formula 1.

Now, there are a couple of future British stars in the making in George Russell and Lando Norris. The former, in specific, is in a formidable position to win his first championship title next season. Hence, can Russell manage to follow Hamilton’s path too and earn his knighthood in the coming years?
