

Bernard Charles Ecclestone, more commonly known as Bernie Ecclestone, is the former F1 CEO. Ecclestone became the CEO of Formula 1 in the 1970s and made the sport a global phenomenon. The Briton did enough to earn the tag ‘F1 Supremo’ with his contributions to the sport until 2017.

In a career that lasted for four decades, Ecclestone, especially with his sale of TV rights, revolutionized Formula One. Ecclestone also owned and ran the Brabham team successfully for 15 years. The Britisher’s business acumen coupled with the TV deal took F1 from a niche sport to a global sport.

This rise in popularity and the financial prospects attached to F1 made its sale to Liberty Media possible. The sport’s massive $4.6 billion sale was hugely beneficial for one of the richest men in the UK, with an estimated worth of a whopping $3 billion.

As all billionaires do, Ecclestone likes to spend his massive wealth as well. The Briton has a multi-million dollar collection of cars, yachts, and jets which will make you drool. However, of all three, his ultra-luxury private jet stands out from the rest of the collection.
Bernie Ecclestone travels in style in his $40 million jet
Ecclestone’s private jet, the Dassault Falcon 7X, is worth an astonishing $40 million. As reported by SuperYachtFan, the large cabin in the jet can accommodate up to 16 passengers.

Ecclestone purchased the Jet in 2008 with the registration tag N999BE, his initials at the end as ‘BE’. The expensive jet is just a part of his collection in the travel department, but surely one of, if not the most expensive one.
When Ecclestone bought the jet back in 2008, the Dassault Falcon 7X was the eighth of its kind. Since then, 250 more jets have been produced but only the ultra-rich own them. Other famous owners of the Dassault Falcon 7X include Prince Albert of Monaco and Microsoft billionaire Charles Simonyi, among others.
