Ferrari, the team that once gave their fans five straight driver’s titles, is currently having trouble bringing home the prize. The Scuderia put on a fantastic show last season, but Red Bull’s Max Verstappen trounced Ferrari’s leading driver Charles Leclerc by nearly 150 points. The Prancing Horse had a number of problems, which led to all of this. However, as the team recently tried another strategy, which they intended to use to forget the season and begin a new adventure, they again came out unsuccessful.
Last year, just when Ferrari appeared to have a chance to win the championship after 13 years, the team was beset by a number of problems like a strategic failure, driver mistakes, and reliability issues. The problems even forced the Maranello team to eventually compete for P2. And now when the team posted an ordinary question on Twitter, fans were quick to respond.

From their official Twitter handle, Ferrari tweeted, “BREAKING. Our 2023 challenger will be…” As soon as the post hit the internet, fans couldn’t hold back their sarcastic reactions.
Now, Ferrari supporters who remember the Maranello team’s glory days are unable to accept their repeated failures. So when the most successful constructors of Formula 1 attempted to engage in a lighthearted conversation with fans on Twitter, they were met with an ugly response.
Twitter F1 users respond snarkily to Ferrari’s recent post
The team was constantly in the spotlight for some or the other reason during the entire past year. Sometimes the team was questioned about their subpar performance, and later on, it was about their team principal, Mattia Binotto, resigning. However, a new team boss has since been chosen by the group. Nevertheless, the Scuderia might not have anticipated such a harsh response from the fans when they posted the question. It seems that the supporters had voiced their displeasure with the Prancing Horse.
Given below are some of the reactions:

The important question is: do you have a strategy that doesn’t finish every race in the first 20 laps? https://t.co/pb2mOzRAGu

Fans showed their displeasure in the form of sarcasm as it seems some of them are tired of supporting the team for so long and getting just disappointment in return.

The team’s recent years have been incredibly challenging, but season 2022 may have given them optimism that they have actually come a long way, considering their recent performances.

With a new team boss, what do you think is going on in the Ferrari camp? Do you think the team will win the championship this year or will they need a few more years to end their championship drought?
