The Jeddah Corniche Circuit hasn’t been the fan-favorite lately. This Saudi Arabian circuit is attracting lots of criticism for its dangerous turns and blind spots after a series of crashes in Qualifiers. F1 is in Saudi Arabia for the second round and the outing hasn’t been quite well for them as Mick Schumacher had a big shunt.

F1 had its qualification on Saturday and what a dangerous outing it has been so far. With both Nicholas Latifi and Mick Schumacher out in the crash, fans have called in for the ban of this racetrack.

Williams’ Latifi crashed out in Q1, but he was safe, so was Mick. However, the Haas driver’s crash was pretty brutal, and he’s lucky to have escaped unscathed. The track has been criticized last year as well for its dangerousness.

Max Verstappen hit the wall during qualification last year. The two Haas cars of Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin were out in the race. George Russell and 2022 Pole sitter Sergio Perez was also out due to the crashes.

The Jeddah circuit is the fastest street circuit in the world. It’s enclosed by barriers all around that mean one mistake and you’re up against the wall. This is just the second year in Jeddah after the inauguration. It’ll be interesting to see if the authorities are concerned about the safety and do something about the circuit.
