<h2>British Grand Prix 2021- Winners, Qualifying, Circuits, Track</h2>
The British Grand Prix is one of the oldest racing events registered in the F1 calendar. It has taken place every year since 1950, without fail. England was home to all British Grand Prix in the 1920s.

The British Grand Prix hopped from one circuit to another over the period of its existence in the F1 calendar. Its inception was at the Brooklands and raced in 1926 and 1927, which shifted to Silverstone in 1948 and continued till 1954.

Circuits of Aintree and Silverstone hosted the British Grand Prix in the years between 1955 to 1962 alternatively. From 1963 to 1986, the race was hosted at Brands Hatch and Silverstone.

It made its permanent home at the Silverstone circuit in 1987 and produces enthralling races every year.

The 2021 British Grand Prix will take place from 16 to 18 July.

The authorities have remodeled and refurbished the circuit from time to time to keep the circuit up to date with the best features. They assured an adventurous, challenging, and safe race for the spectators and the motorists.

The circuit, at present, measures 5.891 kilometers with 18 turns. It comprises 52 laps and runs a distance of 306.198 kilometers. Max Verstappen holds the record for the fastest lap of 1:27.097 in the 2020 season for Red Bull Racing - Honda.

Charles Leclerc is what Ferrari calls the future. Signing a contract with the team till 2024, he has certainly turned heads at the Maranello-based outfit by showing them what he is capable of. He made his debut in 2018 for the Alfa Romeo-Sauber team. There were a lot of doubts regarding Ferrari's signing for 2019. Many people suspected that he wasn't ready and that his much-experienced teammate, <a class="jsx-2b55705d932ea6e9" href="https://www.essentiallysports.com/tag/sebastian-vettel/" target="_self" rel="noopener">Sebastian Vettel</a>, would undermine him on a grand scale. However, he ended up coming out on top, claiming P4 in the Drivers' Championship ahead of the German.

The very next season, despite Ferrari's struggles, Leclerc continued to carry the outfit on his shoulders all by himself. In the process, Leclerc also dominated against his championship-winning teammate for the second straight season, who later quit driving for Ferrari. The Monegasque, however, is facing a stern challenge from his new teammate, Carlos Sainz.

Leclerc also has one of the coolest helmets on the grid despite opting for a minimal design, with the color white dominating most parts of it.

Charles Leclerc showcased his class and strength from the junior classes, winning the 2016 GP3 Series and the 2017 Formula 2 Championships. He was personally picked up by Sergio Marchionne.

While in the 2018 season, his best finish was P6, his performance in the 2019 season was on another level. Leclerc took 7 pole positions and 2 race wins, including the highly prestigious Italian Grand Prix at Monza, giving the Tifosi something to smile about. He was ready to challenge Sebastian Vettel from the very first day, very eager to dethrone his number 1 status. He did manage to do that, eventually.
