“6 Seconds of Pure Happiness”: Daniel Ricciardo Leaves Fans Nostalgic as He Finally Returns Home to Red Bull

Can’t stay away from the first love. Daniel ‘Honey Badger’ Ricciardo came back home after an unceremonious ousting from McLaren. His time away from Red Bull was one to forget. But putting that in the past, Dany Ric decided to keep his one foot in the paddock and one outside it. Reserve driver role in Red Bull provided the perfect opportunity for him.

Though still wary of Ricciardo being back to F1 in a full-time capacity, Red Bull’s top management has given him ample responsibilities. They intend on putting the Honey Badger’s popularity to complete use in the marketing side of their brand. Moreover, he may probably be involved in some Pirelli tire testing and, most definitively, in a lot of simulator work. This is a win-win situation for both parties as the current Red Bull drivers, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, may get respite from their excessively busy off-track schedules with Dany sharing their burden now.

But all is well as long as the F1 world favorite is still around the scene. We will soon be seeing him in full swing with his Red Bull responsibilities, but for now, he has teased fans with glimpses on Red Bull’s TikTok Account.

Fans are overjoyed to see the signature Daniel Ricciardo smile back

Twitter was flooded with a short clip of Dany Ric smiling in the selfie camera. No words, no updates, but for the fans, that was enough. Seeing him back at his first F1 motor sporting home, fans couldn’t control the pangs of Nostalgia.

While some fans were rejoicing in happiness, a few shed virtual happy tears as well.

Others joined in to read every detail of the clip. Trying to extract as much from the video to get a better understanding of what their favorite Australian is up to.

While some had to pinch themselves to come to terms with the reality of the homecoming of the 8x GP winner.
