Lewis Hamilton is a GOAT when it comes to driving a Formula 1 car. He made people fall in love with his driving skills. But apart from driving an F1 car, very few of us might know that the star driver doesn’t like to drive at all. Hamilton was caught with Supercar Blondie ahead of Abu Dhabi GP, answering some of the impossible questions.

Whenever we talk about Formula 1, Hamilton always pops out first. Such is the relationship of Briton with cars. But very few of us might know that the man who has won seven world titles, and 103 Grand Prix wins in the pinnacle of motorsport, doesn’t love driving. Sounds weird, right?
Lewis Hamilton, who made all of us fall in love with his magical driving, reveals in a long conversation with supercar Blondie vlogger Alexandra Mary, that he likes to be a passenger rather than driving the cars. The seven-times champion said, “I’m the best passenger like I’m the most chill person, actually generally prefer being a passenger, I hardly ever drive. I just don’t literally enjoy it.”
Adding further, the Mercedes man explained the only scenario he likes to drive in,” Maybe like if it’s a really beautiful Sunday morning, If I’m like in a Jeep and I got my surfboard hanging out. I like that cruise down to the beach, but in general otherwise it’s just stressful,” said Hamilton.
Hamilton has come a long way now and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will mark his 200th race for the German manufacturer.

Hamilton is one of the giants of the sport. The champion driver has dominated the track with the Silver Arrows’ for nearly a decade. There’s no doubt that Hamilton has aged like a fine wine. The move we got to see during his early days has reached a whole new level now.

Speaking at the driver’s press conference, the 7x champion showed his gratitude towards the team who has given him so many titles and wins. The Briton said, “It’s been an amazing journey, one that I’m incredibly honoured of with Mercedes. I’m proud of it. It shows that loyalty continues to be at the core… [and] one of the many pillars of the values that we have as a team and I’m looking forward to extending it.”
The season 2022 was a rollercoaster ride for Lewis Hamilton and the Silver Arrows, but now gaining their form back, the team is determined to end their season on a high.
