Lewis Hamilton has got a unique bond with his brother Nicolas. Despite suffering from cerebral palsy, Nicolas has fought his condition brilliantly with Hamilton and their family’s support. The uniqueness of their bond often shows up on several occasions. Back in 2021, one similar thing happened when Lewis apparently gifted Nicolas a unique gift related to gaming. Usually, the Mercedes driver does not really relate to gaming, but this gesture was to maintain his bond with his dear brother.

According to the Irish Sun, Lewis gifted Nicolas a portable gaming station that can be used for playing anywhere. Nicolas also posted an Instagram story that captioned, “Lewis Hamilton kindly gave me a portable gaming station so I can still link up with him and play while I’m away racing. Genius!”

This was a unique portable setup that saw Nicolas playing Call of Duty: Warzone. It was a sort of gaming rig that neither resembled a gaming laptop nor a handheld console. Instead, it was like a briefcase that had space for all controllers with a monitor.

Considering this was a lighter, portable device; it may have got a PS4 inside than a PS5. Nevertheless, the cost of the can be estimated at around $1200. Lewis, worth $285 million splurging this amount on a gaming console, certainly showcases how much he cares for Nicolas.

Over the years, Nicolas has become a lot better in his condition. Since 2015, he has raced in the British Touring car championship. Despite suffering at times physically during races, Lewis’s younger brother shows great spirit to keep racing. Lewis certainly appreciates the spirit of going out of the way with such wonderful gestures for his brother.

How Lewis Hamilton gave Nicolas the Mercedes experience

Recently, Nicolas Hamilton got a chance to drive the Mercedes simulator. It was a life-changing experience as Lewis Hamilton managed to convince the Silver Arrows to put together an arrangement for such a day for his younger brother.

Mercedes obliged the 7-time champion’s request in full spirit. The team had put together a special arrangement for Nicolas, considering his condition. With specially designed steering and pedals, Nicolas got a full day of simulator running at Mercedes’ base.

Lewis and Nicolas both posted on their social media how it was a unique lifetime experience for them. Especially, the Mercedes man pointed out how his brother had become the first disabled person to drive an F1 simulator.
