It wasn’t too long ago when Max Verstappen revealed the reason why he stays away from social media. Such has been his influence that even his girlfriend Kelly Piquet’s social media footprint has arguably decreased significantly. He even went to the extent of slamming the people who use such platforms excessively. However, in the last few days, we have seen the Dutchman take a complete U-turn on his stance, performing TikTok routines. This time around, he has caught fans off guard with his acting skills in yet another TikTok video.
Yesterday we saw Max perform a TikTok routine with Red Bull’s content creator Elly on Lola Brooke’s trending song ‘Don’t Play With It’. Elly, like many other Red Bull personalities, was interacting with the team’s drivers after the livery launch event. As Max voluntarily performed for the video and actually seemed to enjoy it, fans questioned how she convinced him to do that.

The biggest announcement coming out from Red Bull’s 2023 livery launch event was the partnership with Ford that will start in the 2026 season. However, it looks like the promotional game has already kicked off as Verstappen and team boss Christian Horner performed a skit, promoting Ford’s high-performance van.
In the video uploaded on TikTok, Max walks onto a stretch of tarmac and finds a regular van. He video calls Horner and asks him if that was what he was supposed to drive for the Ford event. Horner tells him it was actually the van parked next to the one he was talking about, the Ford van with Red Bull livery. Max then goes on to absolutely obliterate the tires with massive burnouts and crazy speeds.
Have a look at how fans reacted to his acting skills.
