The upcoming race would be another great battle between Ferrari and Red Bull. But after the Spanish GP last week, it seems Mercedes is also joining the fight. Further, it would be a neck-to-neck battle between home boy Charles Leclerc and reigning champion Max Verstappen.

The timings for the Monaco GP

The 2022 season is different, unlike other seasons, as the race in the principality would begin on Friday instead of the traditional Thursday. The race weekend in Monaco will kick off with the first two practice sessions on May 27.

So, the upcoming race in the principality will be a clash between the two once more. The Red Bull driver would try to increase the gap between him and Leclerc to defend his title. Meanwhile, the Monaco GP would be a home race for Charles, so he would be more motivated to win the race aside from taking back his lead.
