Max Verstappen has claimed his maiden championship trophy last season. The much-anticipated trophy came to the Dutchman after a season of relentless hard work. However, Verstappen hasn’t changed after winning the world title, Christian Horner claimed.

The Red Bull team boss admired the 24-year-old driver. Max, who’s a defending champion now has a lot in this head. An already popular man in the sport, Verstappen enjoys most of the limelight that Red Bull has. Despite his much talked about celebrity status, Max likes to stay as a humble person.

Christian conveyed about Verstappen if he’s a changed man now, “No it’s not at all. He’s matured since he came to us as a 17-year-old, but he’s still very much the same guy with the same values. He’s great to work with.

He’s got that inner burning desire. He’s a real fighter. You know when you put him in the car he’s going to give you 110 percent. Outside the car, he’s just a normal lad. A nice guy that likes his sport, big into his football, and loves his gaming, too.“, the team boss further stated about the Dutchman.

Max Verstappen is to defend his F1 title this year against a resilient Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton has already fired a warning stating that he’s going to show a better version of himself this season. The Mercedes man might come at the 24-year-old very hard.

After the 2021 season, Max emerged victorious. However, many criticized his way to claim the Championship at Abu Dhabi. Despite all the criticism the Milton-Keynes-based driver has picked up 18 podiums in 22 races all season to prove his worth.
