In a report published by Daily Star, the Briton stated, “It’s difficult because there are people (who say) like ‘yeah, but you race a Formula One car around every weekend’.”
“Some of its education because not everyone knows the footprint that our sport currently has and what we’re doing in terms of trying to improve that.”

The former McLaren driver further asserted, “But I’m making a lot of changes in my personal life. I don’t drive any of the cars that I own anymore. I only drive my (electric Mercedes) EQ”
Lewis Hamilton owns a Mercedes EQC and drives it in a bid to save the environment.
Hamilton is known for standing up for a number of great causes. In this case, he has done the same by avoiding the use of gas-run vehicles. Instead, he chose to go with the Electric vehicle citing the rising global warming and environmental issue.

McLaren P1
McLaren is the team with which the British driver started his F1 career. He bought the P1 just after he left for Mercedes. Known as one of the best supercars ever made, the P1 goes from 0 to 60 MPH in 2.7 seconds, thanks to its 903 horsepower. Only 375 of them were made and to have one, could cost around $1.5 Million.

Pagani Zonda 760 LH
Pagani made this special Zonda version only for Lewis Hamilton. The car comes in Purple color and also boasts a V12 engine that pumps out 720 horsepower. A Zonda costs around $2.2 Million to buy.
