Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel will take part in a charity football match set in August. The duo have previously appeared in charity matches and will do so again. The match will be a tribute to Mick’s father, Michael Schumacher.

The former Ferrari driver and 7-time World Champion met with a skiing accident back in 2013. He is yet to completely recover from it and has not made a public appearance since.
Vettel and Mick will be joined by other sporting stars as well. Former Dallas Mavericks star and NBA champion Dirk Nowitzki will also take part in the match. Along with them, 2014 World Cup winner Mats Hummels is expected to be a part of the game as well.

The match is set to take place on the 24th of August. It will be held at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt. More players will be announced as the date gets closer. Mick will hope to get on the scoresheet in the game. Unfortunately, a point in his F1 career has been hard to come by so far. The German still to score a points finish in F1.
Mick Schumacher is still in search of the elusive first F1 point

Mick Schumacher made his F1 debut in 2021. However, the 2020 F2 champion is yet to score his first points in F1. The 2021 season saw him stuck at the back of the grid with the not-so-competitive machinery he was provided. However, he did the next best thing and convincingly beat his then-teammate Nikita Mazepin.
This year Haas have a much more competitive package. However, fortune has not sided with Mick as the German is still unable to put a point on the board. His wait continued in Canada with another DNF.

Haas have scored 15 points this season, all coming from Mick’s teammate Kevin Magnussen. With the British GP up next, Mick will once again chase the elusive points finish. Another point less season for the German could possibly mean his departure from the American team.
