F1 is in the United States for the fifth round this season. However, this isn’t the first time F1 has come to the North American country, but certainly to the city of Miami. F1 has been treated with utmost importance and anticipation in the state of Florida off late. For example, teams like Miami Dolphins from NFL, and the aforementioned Miami Marlins welcomed the F1 teams with the widest of arms. Max and Sergio threw the ceremonial first pitches ahead of the Major League Baseball game against Arizona Diamondbacks at home.
Coming to Miami, the F1 schedule had a week off after the last race at Imola. The drivers took their time out to visit the local sports and enjoy themselves to the fullest. Earlier, Lewis Hamilton partnered with Tom Brady for a golf session, whereas championship leader Charles Leclerc also paid a visit to the Marlins home.

Charles played catch with outfit Avisail Garcia and then with owner Bruce Sherman and reliever Steven Okert. There was Southpaw Jesus Luzardo and reliever Anthony Bender as well to accompany the F1 driver. When the national anthem was played, Leclerc stood at the third base line.
What’s at stake for Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc in Miami?
As the race days inch closer, the stakes are at an all-time high. Unlike the traditional Circuit of America’s race, this time the anticipation is different. With Red Bull and Ferrari on an even field, it is believed that the battle will be legendary.
