Over the past few days, the Dolly Parton challenge has been trending all over social media. The country singer posted a collage of four images of herself, with the words, Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram and Tinder, under each image. The Finnish driver will be entering the 2020 season as the oldest driver on the grid, at the age of 40. Needless to say, Lewis Hamilton hopes that the ‘Oldest Driver’ tag stays with Kimi Raikkonen. This is because Hamilton himself is next in line on the age list.

What next for Kimi Raikkonen?
It is also worth mentioning that Kimi Raikkonen is on the verge of breaking the record for the most race starts. The current holder of the record is Rubens Barrichello, though Raikkonen is 10 starts behind him. With a 22-race calendar, the Alfa Romeo driver can easily break that record.
He could have broken that record much earlier, but he had taken a 2-year sabbatical at the end of the 2009 season. If one may be so bold, it is safe to say that Raikkonen’s eventual record will likely stand the test of time for a fairly long time.

On the subject of records, Lewis Hamilton is close to equalling Michael Schumacher’s record for the most F1 world championships. If/when he wins in 2020, it will be his 7th world championship in his entire Formula One career. Who knows, maybe in 2021, he could try and even beat that record set by the German legend.
