It is always intriguing when one sporting icon talks about another. You get to see the love, respect, and admiration from some of the biggest personalities in sports. Such was the case between Lewis Hamilton and Tiger Woods. The Formula 1 driver talked about Tiger Woods’ thrilling fifth Master’s Title, and how it made him “emotional”.

Lewis Hamilton is an inspiration to many people around the world. Being the only black driver on the grid, he has reached tremendous heights and broken multiple records. But the Mercedes ace explains how watching Tiger Woods win his first Master’s Title in 11 years made him “proud”.

Lewis said, I was really proud to see him up there just showing everyone that you should never give up”

“I did see some of the highlights and it was quite emotional to watch just knowing his journey, where he started and the things he has gone through,”

Hamilton was impressed by the tennis icon’s attitude and the fact that he did not give up, despite everything that happened.

“To come back after so many years is just proof [about] never giving up on your dreams.”

Hamilton shares how he can’t wait to watch a movie made about Tiger Woods. He hopes Wood’s scintillating return to Golf and winning his 81st PGA title on his comeback is turned into a movie real soon, “It’s now time for a movie – it’s a perfect movie! So I look forward to seeing it.”

Lewis Hamilton and his Golf connection

This is not Lewis Hamilton’s first encounter with Golf. He was previously seen with NBA legend Steph Curry on the golf course in China. The Golden State Warriors talisman donned Lewis’ helmet while hitting a shot.

In another incident, Lewis enjoyed a jolly day on the golf course with another GOAT, Tom Brady. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend met the Mercedes star ahead of the Miami Grand Prix and the duo took part in a PR event.

Hamilton complained his swing was a little rusty after not playing the sport for 3 years. He joked about sticking to “Driving on track” after an uncomfortable outing.
