The Silverstone race will be the halfway point of the season, being round 12 of 24. But not only does this race mark the midway point of the season, it’s also where the first F1 race was ever conducted. Silverstone has become an iconic track on the calendar with decades of history and the present grid has 3 Briton drivers who will be fighting for the victory. Lando Norris feels like the win was stolen from him due to the shunt in Austria, and now everyone is wondering if he will be able to secure the win.

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell from Mercedes will also be chasing the home race now that they know the W15 can have podium finishes and even win races. Although Max Verstappen is still leading races for the majority of the time, all 3 Briton drivers want to secure the top spot. For Norris, the upcoming race will be a shot at redemption, as he was extremely close to winning the race. However, the conditions of the tracks matter a lot and according to the forecast, the race might be a wet one. Let’s take a look at the weather forecast for the British GP weekend.
