Ronda Rousey is a household name from the MMA world and a UFC Hall of Famer. She took her talents to the WWE and made her debut at the 2019 Royal Rumble. ‘Rowdy’ famously teamed with Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 34 and beat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Later she claimed the Raw Women’s Championship. However, she has been absent from WWE programming since the last Wrestlemania after being pinned by Becky Lynch.
‘Rowdy’ appeared on the “Wild Ride! with Steve-O” podcast and spoke at length about her life and the WWE.

‘Rowdy’ says she was on a part-time schedule but still had to be on the road for 200 days in the year. When she did get home, she was sleep-deprived as the time to lie down was scarce.
She wonders what all the effort was for if the fans don’t appreciate her. Rousey was constantly greeted with boos in the buildup to her WrestleMania 35 match against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. The fans even cheered Flair’s vicious assault on her at Survivor Series.
“At the end of the day, I was like, F***these fans dude. My family loves me and they appreciate me and I want all my energy to go into them. So that was my decision at the end of the day. It’s like, ‘Hey girls. Love what you’re doing. I’m gonna try and take all my momentum and push you guys as far as I can … fly little birds, fly! I’m going f**king home!’ And that was basically it.”
