The trip to Ireland didn’t go as planned for Paige VanZant and her husband, Austin Vanderford. At the Bellator 275 event in Dublin, ‘Mr. VanZant’ fought in his first Bellator championship match against Gegard Mousasi and lost.
After Vanderford’s maiden career defeat, their morale must have been down, but VanZant was excited to get back home to meet her ‘son’. ’12 Gauge’ shared the same on her Instagram stories as she wrote, “IM COMING HOME SON!!!!”

The Bare Knuckle Fighter, who had a long flight back home, did a little Q/A on her Instagram stories. ’12 Gauge’ shared that she loved the pubs and Galway in Ireland in a response to one of the questions.
After the long flight, when VanZant reached Florida, she shared a picture with her “baby love.”

Meanwhile, ‘The Gentleman’ was not affected by the lopsided loss against one of the greatest fighters in the world.

He took to Instagram and wrote, “Humble in victory and defeat. Congrats to @mousasi on the well-earned victory. Last night wasn’t my night, but I’m thankful that this will only make me a better fighter. Thank you to the friends, family and fans who support me! We’ll be back better than ever.”
The Bellator fighter also thanked VanZant and ATT before declaring his intention to return to the gym.
Paige VanZant visited Conor McGregor’s pub in Ireland
Before going to Ireland, ’12 Gauge’ shared that visiting Conor McGregor’s Bar was one of the things she wanted to do in the wonderful country. Later, when she reached Dublin, she went to visit Black Forge Inn.

Liam Flynn, who works at the pub, shared her presence at the bar on his Instagram. “Welcome to the home @paigevanzant got the full Irish hospitality loving it,” he wrote.

Paige VanZant is expected to return inside the BKFC ring for her third bare-knuckle bout sometime later this year.
