Frank Warren has big plans for heavyweight contender Daniel Dubois and is ready to fix one of the biggest fights of his career right now!
In Daniel Dubois’s performance this weekend, he went up against Ricardo Snijders and ended things in the second round. People thought he could have had his way in the first round only, watching the display of talent from his end.
Great things are in store for Daniel Dubois and Warren is already looking deep into his future and has big hopes for him. Speaking with SkySports, he said he would be happy making a fight between Dubois and Anthony Joshua right now.

He said, “When you have a talent like Daniel, the individual route to a world title becomes less important. Before long, he’ll be at the top of all the sanctioning bodies’ rankings and everyone will be running scared from him. If it’s AJ’s WBO title, so be it. They’ve sparred before and Daniel held his own. I’ve said before, I’d make that fight tomorrow.”
Dubois currently holds the WBO’s International title and is ranked third, just behind Oleksandr Usyk and Joseph Parker.

Frank Warren on what’s next for Dubois
As of now, Daniel Dubois will take on his long awaited opponent Joe Joyce next. This fight was initially scheduled for early spring, but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Though nothing is official as of now, they’re targeting a date in late October. Warren has clarified that he will only make this fight if there is a live audience attending the event.
Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua has his hands full. He is set to take on IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev in December. After that, he might also have another contest with WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk due. And once he gets past those two, he has Tyson Fury waiting for a unifying heavyweight bout.
