The Open Championship 2021 is currently headed towards a thrilling finish. The first 36-holes rounds are done, and several players faced elimination as a result of the cutline. The 149th Open is headed into moving day, here’s everything you need to know about Round 3.
18-hole leader Louis Oosthuizen did not let his momentum slip on Friday. The South African followed his opening round 64 with a sublime 5-under-65 in Round 2. His chances of winning the tournament have increased drastically.

But the round of the day belonged to Collin Morikawa. He made a leaderboard surge with a brilliant 64 in Round 2 and is now 9-under for the tournament and solo second in the standings.
As for the weather, Round 3 won’t be troubled by any rains at all. There is just 1% chance of precipitation during the day, and that means showers are highly unlikely to grace the Royal St.George’s Golf Club.
The temperature will reach a high of 20° and wind gusts are expected to reach 20 km/h. Both the morning and afternoon waves will see sunny conditions with the weather toning down in the evening. It will indeed be a windy day for the golfers.
