Take-Two has recently announced that they would be launching two revamps of past titles. Initial speculations were about Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto 4. But as Borderlands Collection is part of Take-Two’s “new iteration of a previously released title” now, it leaves fans more speculating about which title’s revamp they can get. Red Dead Redemption might be Coming Back

Take-Two decided to release two iterations of previously released titles in Fiscal 2024, which ends in March 2024. Previously, it was speculated to be RDR and GTA4. But Borderlands Collection has already become a part of Take-Two’s plan.
Here are Take Two’s whole Investor Remakes for Q4 2023. So, according to previous speculations, it’s obvious that a Red Dead Redemption Remaster edition might be paving its way with Take-Two Interactives. The game was also listed on Korea’s rating website, which solidifies the hopes of the fans as well.

Although there’s no confirmation regarding the dates yet, according to Colin Moriarty, host of Sacred Symbol, we can expect an official announcement in August. Moriarty claims to have inside information. Last year, reports claimed that Rockstar was working on the remaster editions of Red Dead Redemption, but eventually, due to certain reasons, that project stopped. So, now Take-Two has this golden opportunity to rise in the RDR fandom again.
Fans Can’t Hold Their Excitement
After realizing a possible comeback of Red Dead Redemption as a remaster edition, fans are excited. This fan thinks another iteration from Take Two will be the Read Dead Redemption Remastered edition.

This fan thinks it might be a business tactic for Rockstar Games. They can push the release of GTA 6 to late 2025 or even early 2026 by launching the remastered edition of RDR in 2024.
RDR1 remake kinda feels like a way to silently delay GTA 6 without people going mad over it.
I can see them announcing rdr1 late this year with a release in spring next year. that would push the GTA 6 trailer to late 24 with a release in 2025. (And a possible delay to early 26).
