This is all due to the effort and hard work put in by Rogan and the producer of the podcast, Brian Redban. Once, Redban even tried to reach out to the gaming community with a secret plan in 2011.
What did Brian Redban plan for the Joe Rogan Podcast?
On November 6, 2022, Brian shared a tweet on his official Twitter account. In the tweet, Brian shared a screenshot of an email that was sent to Rockstar Studios in 2011 for a secret collaboration idea with the podcast in their upcoming game.
In the previous Rockstar games such as the “Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition”. It had a feature in the game that would let the player use the in-game radio to listen to interchangeable radio stations. So it was quite a good suggestion by the producer of the podcast as people could have listened to the podcast as well while enjoying their favorite game.
Brian also revealed that this email was completely kept secret from Rogan. He said, “This is a real email… @joerogan had no idea about this… I was just hustling..@RockstarGames”.
How did the fans react to this tweet?
After receiving this news, the fans were excited beyond measure. The fact that they could have listened to the Podcast while playing the game clicked with them very well. They urged Rockstar to make this a reality and praised Brian for this amazing suggestion.
Redban this is goddamn genius work. I play GTA5 all the time and always struggle with the recycled radio stations on a loop. If there was an actual station playing all of @joerogan podcasts that would be my two biggest addictions in one! Awesome

Imagine some dude just idling in his in-game car for four hours to finish an episode
