It is the dawn of a new era in the FPS world. Valve has bid their most famous FPS title Counter-Strike: Global Offensive goodbye. And they have brought forth a new title CS2 to carry on its legacy. The replacement title, however, is filled with bugs. This has made many fans wonder – did Valve release it too early? Meanwhile, there are a lot of fans who still remember CSGO fondly.

One of those fans is Al Hilal’s Brazilian superstar, Neymar Jr. He has been an avid fan of the game and actively follows the community. His way of bidding the gay goodbye was a memorable one too.

In a recent post shared by Neymar, he bid CSGO goodbye. He sent out a tweet in Portuguese which, when translated, reads, “Thanks CSGO!! Some moments live with friends… I’ll miss them.” He also shared a montage of clips showcasing some of his gameplay times. This post from the soccer star has gone viral in the community, with over three million fans watching it!

Neymar has joined the long list of fans who have bid the FPS title farewell. However, the game holds a special place in the heart of the Al Hilal star. He has time and again showcased his love for the game to the community, even collaborating with s1mple in the past. Further, he even streams himself playing, gifting fans a wonderful experience apart from his soccer matches.

His CSGO streams have been a delight for the fans too. Apart from having a mastery of soccer, Neymar also has excellent gun control and aim, which he displays during streams. But with CSGO discontinued, his loyal fans eagerly await the star to join CS2 and display those skills again.

While fans eagerly await Neymar to play CS2, he has a lot on his plate currently. He is soon going to be a father with his girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi. He recently moved to Saudi Arabia to join his new club Al Hilal, where he will be playing this season. On the national front, he recently became Brazil’s all time leading goal scorer, surpassing the legendary Pele.
