Super Mario Bros. doesn’t need an introduction as a video game. It has been one of Nintendo’s most celebrated video games of all time. With Mario and Luigi battling creatures and iconic enemies for Princess Peach, the levels are all about being thrilling and addictive. The franchise had received one feature adaptation back in 1993, which wasn’t that much of a hit.
Chris Pratt reiterates Super Mario Bros. co-producer’s belief
Given the fact that Mario is Italian and Pratt is not, some doubt is a little obvious. However, Pratt made sure everyone regains trust, in a recent interview. Pratt stressed on the fact that he will just be offering his voice to Mario in an animated film.
“It’s an animated voiceover narrative. It’s not a live-action movie. I’m not gonna be wearing a plumber suit running all over. I’m providing a voice for an animated character,” Pratt said.
