Sometimes even players from other sports cross over to Esports to show their love for gaming, and it is fabulous. It is even more beautiful when NFL players cross over for gaming. That’s what happened recently when Patrick Mahomes’ superstar teammate, Juju Smith-Schuster, and his mates from Team Divergence uploaded a video on YouTube, playing Fortnite.

NIL players are now playing Fortnite!

The NFL wide receiver, Juju Smith-Schuster, recently uploaded a video on his YouTube Channel. In this video, he challenged NIL athletes to play Fortnite against each other, and win cash bounties on completing certain challenges. These challenges were 3 hours long each and consisted of challenges like reaching the Final Circle without any elimination, Car Elimination, Grenade Elimination, etc.

The players were teamed up together to play against another team and the players who had the most eliminations got bonus prizes. These prizes ranged from $100 to $2500, with each task ranked according to its hardness and complication. The players were teamed up in four main squads. The first had Juju Smith, ABJ, and Eric Van Gogh. The second team consisted of TD Vex, Jacobee Bryant, and Squiggle.

The third team had TD Micawave, Jordan Whittington, and Alohamy. And the final team had Dockery, David Ugwoegbu, and Meatman. The overall cash prize distribution, by the end of the challenge, went to $40,000.

Schuster and his love for gaming

Juju Smith-Schuster is a well-known Wide Receiver for NFL. He used to play for Pittsburgh Steelers until last season and had played five seasons for them. But, has now signed for Kansas City Chiefs as a star WR, and will also play NFL for the team along with star player, Patrick Mahomes this season. Recently, he was considered to be one of the best bargains in the NFL. He was traded with Tyreek Hill and was signed for $10.75M.

Apart from this, he is well-known by fans for his love for games like Call of Duty. Occasionally, he uploads videos on YouTube of him playing COD and sometimes even stream on Twitch. He also considers himself the best COD player in the NFL. Not just this, he also has over a million subscribers on YouTube, and fans love his uploads.
