Rockstar launched GTA 4 on April 28, 2008, on the PlayStation 3, X-Box 360, and PC. The storyline focused on Niko Bellic living the American dream according to his style. For him, it was escaping his past, but for his cousin Roman, it was finding a fortune in Liberty City. Things went south as they explored this land of opportunities.

The game excelled at creating something that is uncommon in open-world games: a thematically coherent experience that tells a story while also respecting the player’s position as an independent citizen of that surroundings rather than a passenger. It was only possible through a classical emphasis on the game’s weight.
GTA 4 celebrates its 14th anniversary
The game has been around for quite a while now but saw a slight decline in regard to the player count. With the release of GTA 5 in the later years, fans shifted from the previous version to try their hand at the new one. Now, all fellow fans are eagerly waiting for GTA 6, as it is expected to be the biggest release of the franchise to date.
The game has spent over a decade and four in the gaming industry. Even after being a classic, Grand Theft Auto 4 is still one of the top-grossing games in the gaming industry.
We wish GTA a Happy 14th Anniversary! Fans reacted to this in various ways. Some were pretty amazed at how far the game has come, while the others were simply happy. Let’s look at some of the fan reactions.

The greatest? I wouldn’t say so personally. I enjoyed GTA V a lot more. And of course San Andreas. And the I really enjoyed Vice City Stories.

The driving and damage physics of GTA 4 is probably the best out of any game I've ever played except maybe wreckfest.
The driving in gta 4 is so much better than it is in gta 5

The ones who say gta v is better , clearly are the ones who get amazed by the way things LOOK . GTA IV is the best GTA ever made . S.A was very very very good , and maybe our favorite but GTA IV is , in all of it , a masterpiece.

Those in the comments who say Gta5 is the best only say that because it’s most likely their first and probably only gta they’ve played.

I long thought GTA 4 was the GOAT, but having re-played it all the way through recently I realised it wasn’t quite as good as San Andreas. 4 & 5 are on par I think, but ultimately the fun factor of SA puts it above the others.

GTA 4 is not the greatest lol yess but it's very very underrated in the league the background music is just awesome also the physics used in this game is 10/10 even GTA 5 doesn't have this type of physics… missing those time 2014-15 really enjoyed this game❤️

Best atmosphere and best story, made me feel like an actual criminal and not some character from Oceans Eleven or Heat. GTA 5 was okay but it felt more like Payday than GTA.

The storyline of V takes the cake in my decision…. it's definitely movie material, Ray Liotta, Tyrese, and, I don't know, Lmfao Matthew McConaughey as Trevor…
