Brian Bright was the Project Director of Zombies and Co-Op at Infinity Ward. He was mainly involved in 2016’s Infinite Warfare Zombies. Although the latter didn’t really get as much popularity as Black Ops’ Zombies experience, he recently shared his happiness seeing several players still enjoying the IW Zombies mode.

While sharing an incident from the past, Bright also revealed that when he and his team working on Infinite Warfare Zombies, he was initially told that Zombies do not belong inside the Modern Warfare universe. And that it can never happen. Remembering these words in 2023, the veteran director wrote that “now they are in MW3, lol”.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be the first MW to feature Zombies. That’s what makes it a unique and very special game in the entire franchise history. It will be interesting to see how Treyarch’s team will bring the undead into a new world.

Fans are currently looking forward to the main launch. Apart from Zombies, it will also offer a lot of other content when it comes to Multiplayer and a traditional Campaign.

What to expect from Modern Warfare 3 after release?

Developed mainly by Sledgehammer, the game will reveal an improved Multiplayer for the fans. Compared to the existing title MWII, the new COD premium will feel faster, more polished, and refined.
