The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a smooth game for the most part. Barring some small visual issues caused by the dated hardware of its platform, the game runs pretty much flawlessly. But this Nintendo Switch exclusive does have a bunch of glitches and bugs that many players exploit. Some players even use these glitches to just speedrun the massive game.
But it appears Nintendo has decided to put an end to this. They recently launched an update for the title, fixing a bunch of those bugs and glitches. Following is the official list of fixes that this update brings to the game. Here are some that players might find useful:
- By starting the game from within certain articles released on a specific Switch News channel, players can receive a number of in-game items. According to Nintendo, this might not be possible in some cases. This has to do with the state of gameplay progression and the location in which the data is reopened.
Some of the issues that were fixed include:
- The issue where players couldn’t go past a certain point during some quests. The complete list of the quests for which this was an issue is given on the Nintendo official site.
- The issue preventing fairies from appearing under certain conditions
