Nintendo is slowly revealing more new things about their upcoming open-world game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. After their most recent and most exciting trailer, it appears the platform holder has a lot more to show and tell fans about.

The most recent trailer for this game already has fans on cloud nine. All the abilities, tools, weapons, enemies, and friendly NPCs showcased in this game have really taken people by surprise. Yet it appears that there are a lot of things the fans haven’t yet seen. And most recently, Nintendo released information on another one of these characters.

Nintendo reveals another new character from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Nintendo Switch users are sure in for a treat; they will soon be getting their hands on a new open-world game made by the developer. There would hardly be people who would not be familiar with Tears of the Kingdom by now. This franchise’s long run and its immense popularity have assured that even those who have yet to own a Nintendo console know about the legacy of Zelda games.

And that is why the hype for this latest installment is just monumental. Amidst all this excitement, Nintendo decided to release a new trailer for this game showcasing visuals, new gameplay mechanics, and most importantly, giving fans a look at this game’s characters. From Ganon to Zelda to those various tribal champions who often helped Link in his quest to fight Ganon, many things were revealed.

Some of the fans already know a few details, but others do not. Recently, Nintendo revealed the name of one such character. They tweeted an image of a character from the Zora tribe with the text, “Sidon, the cheerful and charming prince of the Zora tribe, returns in The Legend of #Zelda: #TearsOfTheKingdom. He cares deeply about his people and selflessly protects their home, Zora’s Domain, with integrity and passion.”

Sidon is the leader of the Zora clan; a clan that specializes in swimming, as Sidon’s costume might give a hint. This guy previously helped Link fight the villain, and he might do it again. Living in a city built amidst multiple waterfalls, Link ended up earning him a good friend.

It remains to be seen what part he plays in the sequel. If the Tweet is anything to go by, he would yet again be a supporting character to Link.
