For the past three years, Rachell Hofstetter has been YouTube’s most-watched female streamer. She is also one of the most-known faces of the streaming industry. While many streamers have gone on to new territories following issues with Twitch‘s new regulation policies, Valkyrae secured a deal with YouTube that will keep her streaming on the platform till at least 2024.
After joining the gaming group 100 Thieves 2018, Valkyrae also became a co-owner for the group in 2020. She started streaming on Twitch in 2015 but moved to YouTube in 2018 to become one of the most-watched streamers in the industry. Valkyrae garnered even more followers by streaming games like Fall Guys and Among Us. During this stage of her career, she reached her peak viewership numbers. The popular streamer also secured the “Content Creator of the Year” award. Her career highlight was at its peak in 2022 when she was included on the Forbes list of 30 Under 30.
A triumphant return awaits
At the beginning of July, Valkyrae took a break from streaming to visit her family in Germany for a wedding event. Over the next few weeks, her formidable fanbase grew impatient with her absence from the streaming platform and began asking when she would be back again. To these, the Streamy Award winner said that she would be back in a “few more days“. She also mentioned that she had some “crazy” ideas for new content.
