YouTube Philanthropist MrBeast Makes a Change by Rebuilding Orphanages in Africa, While Fans Mock, Claiming, “He’s Only Doing This to Avoid Taxes”

One of the biggest YouTube creators of all time is undoubtedly Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson. Jimmy is known for his larger-than-life content featuring some spectacular challenges with huge rewards. But money and luxury don’t defy who Jimmy is. As he is always ready to work for a change in the world. 

In many instances, MrBeast has stated that he looks forward to making a mark in the world by helping people in need. Philanthropy was one of the biggest motivations of his life that pushed him to reach the peak he is at now. And after gaining the necessary resources and financial help from his YouTube career and businesses, Jimmy didn’t forget what his goals were.  

MrBeast helps rebuild orphanages in Africa

The latest video on Jimmy’s philanthropy channel, Beast Philanthropy, showcased the team’s efforts in South Africa. In this video, Jimmy talked about how he is excited to announce that his relief works will not only be bound to America but the whole world. At first, they will be starting from South Africa, by helping the local orphanages.

In this video, he shared that his team lends a helping hand to Mama Rosie, who runs an orphanage named, ‘Baphumelele children’s Home’. “Every day is a struggle, every day it’s fundraising, we don’t have food, we don’t have electricity but we keep on opening the doors knowing that someday someone will come to our rescue…” said Mama Rosie. 

Baphumelele was going through a tough time as the health department had announced the orphanage to be unlivable as the roofs were made out of asbestos and the living conditions were very challenging. To help Mama Rosie in her valiant efforts, MrBeast and his team helped to build 12 brand new homes for the children with electricity, water, and clean toilets.

On January 12, 2023, MrBeast shared on Twitter, “We just uploaded my favorite video of all time! The projects Beast Philanthropy has planned for this year will change an unfathomable amount of lives, I’m excited :)” with an attached link of the latest video. 

To this tweet, one fan replied, “He’s only doing this to avoid taxes” claiming that he is doing this all because he wants to evade taxes. Such a huge claim was bound to attract attention, and that is exactly what it did as Jimmy himself replied, “Nope. I’ve never once even thought about that. I’d factually have millions of more $ if I didn’t fund Beast Philanthropy… but idc, I do it because I love it”
