MrBeast attended the Super Bowl LIII to advertise PewDiePie
Super Bowl stands as one of the grandest celebrations of sports on the planet. With the heavy weightage of viewership, policies of the event do not allow banners or any of the things that can obstruct the view of the people. Nevertheless, MrBeast decided to paint “Sub 2 PewDiePie” on blankets.
According to the media outlet, Nielsen, Super Bowl LIII attracted around 98.2 million views. While the world’s eyes were on the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams, MrBeast stood focused on advertising PewDiePie. However, an unforeseen hurdle did come his way.
After roaming around the zoo and having a fun session attracting subscribers for PewDiePie, the final day came of entering the stadium. But to utmost disappointment, he had to drop the blanket as the officials found them as an obstruction to the view of the audience.
Therefore, the T-shirts carrying the necessary words became the last resort. Matching the cheering rants of the fans, MrBeast kept on going with the chant “PEWDIEPIE!” As they got seated, they did a test run to certify if they will be shown in the broadcast or not. After finding success, Jimmy and his crew were seated in order of “Sub 2 PewDiePie.”
Jimmy and his crew succeeded at giving PewDiePie a huge shoutout
The game started and successfully they did show up on the broadcast. ESPN tweeted a picture of New England Patriots Stephen Gostkowski missing the 46-yard field goal. But if one notices “Sub 2 PewDiePie” was boldly shown in the photo clip as well. One can see the tweet below:
