God of War Ragnarok is making history right now, with its incredible story and gameplay, which is getting a lot of love from fans. But with several new characters and locations, it seems a special arboreal friend is making his way to fans’ hearts as well.

But what is more intriguing is the fact that popular YouTuber SungWon Cho is the brain and voice behind this new character. With a new tweet, he reveals this, and fans are loving the news already.

Popular YouTube comedian reveals his character in God of War Ragnarok

In his recent Tweet, YouTuber, and voice actor SungWon Cho revealed that he has been working with Santa Monica Studios in the latest God of War Ragnarok to help create an iconic character named ‘Ratatoskr’. He tweeted, “eyyy, looks like the first images of Ratatoskr are finally public (i voiced him, helped write his dialogue, and did the motion capture), looking forward to people finally getting to play God of War: Ragnarok soon.”

Notably, the character has a very distinguished English accent and a mannerism that the popular YouTuber is known for portraying. Also, according to Norse Mythology, Ratatoskr is known for bearing insults to other beings, which can be seen in the latest game as well. If summoned by Atreus, Ratatoskr will suddenly appear in his astral form and give certain insults to him, if the summoning is unnecessary.

Although, it is surprising to see that after Cho’s reveal to fans, the comments section on his tweet got flooded with approvals and congratulatory messages. Fans even started saying that the arboreal character in the game was their absolute favorite character.

Surprisingly, many fans started asking whether he wore a mo-cap suit to play the character. This was also joined by the curious question of how he did the acting for a squirrel 1/3rd his size.

Additionally, Cho was congratulated by many for his recent voice-acting role, as it seems that fans and the gaming community in total loved his latest venture. Notably, SungWon Cho has been working on several projects now and has gained a lot of popularity in the past few years as a comedian and voice actor on YouTube.
