The 28-year-old found out that the upcoming CS 2 will feature realistic smoke from smoke grenades. Additionally, the smoke will have a visible window when a bullet passes through it, or a grenade could be used to get rid of the smoke. Seeing this smoke feature, Shroud said, “Okay bro, you’re blowing my mind.” Although he liked the smoke, he was a little skeptical about the visible window through the smoke.

The smoke wasn’t the only thing that blew Shroud’s mind; he was also impressed by the game’s lighting. CS 2 features brighter visuals compared to its predecessor. Shroud said, “Every single map is much brighter, which is good because Counter-Strike: GO is very dull, like just super dull. Think about how many people use digital vibrance on Macs and Counter-Strike: GO. It seems like they’re trying to balance that a little bit, which is good.”
Aside from the brighter color palate in CS 2, Shroud was also impressed to see how Valve recreated some of the old maps with HD models. He also praised them for improving the audio quality of the game. Overall, the 28-year-old CS: GO legend was impressed by this sequel but couldn’t stop praising the realistic smoke in the game.
