Ever since the release of the highly anticipated open-world RPG based on the world of Harry Potter, there have been a group of people who have been very vocal about expressing their hate for the game. Not just on social media, this group of people are harassing anyone having any connections with Hogwarts Legacy, including streamers and content creators.
The main protest against the game started when many individuals started bashing the game for adapting the works of J.K. Rowling, who made some comments about certain sensitive subjects. The influence of these people has grown so widely that it is directly affecting people making a living with the game. Streamer Asmongold takes a firm stand against this behavior.

The streamer Asmongold has no tolerance for online toxicity, which is why instead of rolling with it, he made some firm stands against the people who are constantly bullying and harassing anyone associated with HL. Both on his stream and on social media, Asmongold left some aggressive words for the people who are ruing the game for others.
On February 8, 2023, Asmon made a tweet saying, “Shocking to me that people think the way to protest Hogwarts Legacy is to bully and harass those who are playing/streaming it No one likes this. You’re not helping anyone, you’re just being a piece of sh*t.” With his harsh criticisms, he bashed all the bullies and harassers.

But this wasn’t enough. In a recent stream, when the streamer got to know that a fellow streamer named GirlFriendReviews had teared up in her stream after the constant barrage of haters, Asmon said much more harsh comments for the haters. He lashed out on the live stream to let them know his opinions of stream viewers.
“I don’t know what happened to people on the internet that they think that their disagreement with somebody, the other person, has to listen to them. Who gives a f**k of what you think?! You’re a f***king name on a screen! You’re an NPC!” said Zack Hoyt aka Asmongold.

In the end, Zack advised all the streamers and content creators out there not to engage with their toxic audience, as they are nothing but names on a screen. Zack also made it clear to the creators that there was nothing to be done by commenting on them. One can never “win them over” which is why ignoring them as NPCs is the only way.
