His statement seemed to touch on sensitive topics like depression and fans seemed to connect the statement to people who have anime pictures as their display pics.
And to no one’s surprise, this statement went viral. People across the internet community were seen having discussions about this statement the eSports idol posted. Many were seen trying to dig deep into the meaning of what Doc was trying to say.

People surprisingly were seen supporting Doc’s remarks. It is common knowledge that many gamers have placed anime pictures as their profile pictures. And Doc taking a dig at the gamers who have these were interpreted in many ways by the people.
Some people were seen talking about many gamers being self-isolated. That is, they are only focused on their gaming world and nothing else.

To be more accurate, I would say many gamers in general suffer from depression and use gaming as a coping mechanism while they hopefully work toward addressing their problems.

Of course, there were people who took offense to the made remarks. The gaming community is quite gigantic and surely one person or the other will surely get offended when someone talks about sensitive topics. They were also seen criticizing Doc as he is also an avid gamer.
