Over the years, the hacking and cheating cases in the FPS giant have been a major point of criticism. The CoD fans have always called out Activision for failing to take some firm action against the hackers’ outgrowing invasion. While the fans had expected an improved anti-cheat system for Modern Warfare 3, the beta phase hasn’t been an ideal pitch for the case. It is important to note that currently, the beta run is only available to the PlayStation console owners. This only worsens things as the upcoming weekend might add to the issue. For context, most of the gamers have believed that this issue is mostly due to the game’s availability on PC, until now. Warzone specifically has been a major contributor to the increasing problem in the last few years. Activision has tried numerous times to repair the anti-cheat, but they have not been successful in keeping their game free of cheats. Players have constantly voiced complaints. Also, those who abuse voice chat are discovered more frequently than those who openly use aimbots, wall hackers, and god modes.
Fans are furious
All the episodes of hackers altering the core challenges of a game make the fans wonder about their sole motivation. The frustration is obvious and evident every time. But spoiling the initial launch phase of a much-anticipated title has made things unbearable. So, fans decided to express their rant against the issue.
