His content formula has inspired a whole generation of creators to imitate what he does, hoping to capture a fraction of what he has acquired. 

Jimmy had made his name by giving away loads of money and valuable possessions to complete strangers. However, there are some rare instances when the formula backfires and instead of getting, warm regards, Jimmy has to face cold criticism and overall hate and negativity. The ongoing Car Giveaway drama is one of them. 

MrBeast responds to the Waitress Car ‘tip’ drama

Recently Jimmy, in his signature fashion, had given away a whole new car to a waitress at a restaurant where he likes to eat. While the receiving waitress was overwhelmed with joy having a new car, the internet wasn’t very happy with it. They boldly criticized Jimmy saying he gave away a ‘leftover’ car for clout. 

“Wow MrBeast, thank you so much for giving me the leftover MrBeast company car. I love the logos and the lightning bolt on it. I am gonna love driving this to my waitressing job fu*king every day,” said a TikTok user who acted as the spokesperson for the waitress who got the car. 

Thai behavior divided the internet, many criticized the TikToker, calling them ‘ungrateful’ while many others bashed Jimmy for doing such stunts. However, the fire rose to new heights when the fans falsely believed the TikTok user to be the receiving waitress. The confusion and misleading information stirred up quite chaos.

Seeing that things are getting out of hand, Jimmy posted another video, revealing more insight about the whole incident. In this new extended cut, it could be seen that Jimmy is saying to the girl that she can “remove the logo” off the car if she wants. In reply, the waitress said, “I think I am gonna keep it.”

The Car that Jimmy had given the woman was a Toyota Corolla, which ranges from $25,000- $30,000. While the internet criticizes the paint job on the car. Some experts believe that seeing the popularity of MrBeast, the logos, and the custom paint job only adds to the car’s value. So if the waitress decides to keep the logo, she could expect a better resale value.
