The Black Screen glitch of Call of Duty MW3 Open Beta is making quite a noise in the gaming community. During the initial launch of the Call of Duty MW3 Open Beta, many players were stuck with this Black screen glitch. While trying to get into the open beta, they came across a black screen which they believed they couldn’t progress from. The players voiced their opinions to the devs but to no response. Recently, one page has made a statement on Twitter which has been quite pacifying for the players.

In a recent post on Twitter, the original poster tweeted “In regards to UI, just for the #MW3 Beta it requires an extra 10-15 seconds black loading screen to access.” This message became the reason for the sigh of relief for players all over. Now players who were worried about the black screen being a problem need to be patient as the game loads in the background.

Although the black screen created a lot of confusion within the community, this tweet let the players know that the game is working correctly. The tweet accompanying the post stated, “At launch, from COD HQ, you’ll just select the MW3 mode in the lists, and you’ll be instantly in the lobby – and select a playlist” giving further instructions to players to get past this issue.
This news was crucial as many players were starting to lose hope of playing the open beta for the game they had already pre-ordered. While the open beta was limited to players playing on the PlayStation, many users were unhappy thinking that the black screen was a soft lock to the game. As the good news spread, many players rejoiced and jumped back into the action.

As someone who doesn't play Call of Duty much, this whole COD HQ thing is confusing. Soon as I booted the main client, it's littered with Battle Pass and ad junk everywhere.

While it is clear that Sledgehammer needs to work on its UI and fix this bug before it confuses others. The devs have been working on patch updates almost every day.
