Valkyrae is one of the most popular female streamers of this generation. The ‘Queen of YouTube’ has many loving and caring people who think of her very highly. But a bad experience once led her into self-doubt and question her abilities.

Rachel Hofstetter, also known as Valkyrae, once had a terrible experience in a relationship. This changed a lot for her and gave her the courage to do something bigger and better with her talents. Thus, in a recent podcast with 100 Thieves members Kyedae, and Peter Park, she discussed her current dating scenario.

Valkyrae expresses her thoughts about dating

During a podcast with the 100 Thieves members Kyedae and Peter Park, Valkyrae revealed her dating life. Notably, the Podcast was the first episode of a new segment called ‘Boomers vs Zoomers’ which allows fans to know more about their beloved YouTube Streamers.

During the podcast Valkyrae when asked about her dating life said, “I have tried dating apps, but I get too paranoid that I’m gonna get recognized.” After this, she even added further on how she got into the habit of installing and uninstalling the apps because of this paranoia. She said, “So I’ve gotten into the habit of like installing it and installing it.”

To this Peter Park asked her what are her dating standards. She replied, “My standards are incredibly high.” She explained why so by adding, “I’ve had some really bad relationships before, and I never want to have to deal with that again.”

“I’ve had relationships in the past where my partner will compare their success to mine. Like it’s the worst thing. It actually got to a point where I didn’t even want to share anything good that was happening because it would hurt their feelings or they would be insecure,” Valkyrae added.

The Queen of YouTube has the perfect idea of love

Valkyrae then further explained who can be a perfect partner for her as she said, “I don’t want a partner that’s not okay with their own like grind kind of thing. Like hey, you could be a janitor and are trying your best and doing really well and happy for me and supportive. And you are trying to improve yourself as well. That’s all I could ask for, just the bare minimum.”

This shows that Valkyrae has a very beautiful idea of love and respect, which she doesn’t want anyone else to spoil. Notably, she is single and is very happy about it.

Regarding this, she said, “As of right now I’m really happy, especially because like I feel like being single has allowed me to like really bond with like friends and work more like actually like devote myself to just doing stuff which has been really fun.”
