A few months back, MrBeast gave away an island to his 100,000,000th as a reward for winning a competition. The YouTuber had conducted a contest for a few of his fans that competed for an island. As a result, a Penn State college student won it and took an island on his way home. 

This wasn’t the first time MrBeast gave away an island, as back in 2020, he conducted a similar challenge. However, the challenge featured a mix of his team along with a few fans, where the winner was a part of Jimmy’s team. So, the YouTuber decided to level the game by giving a chance to more subscribers, as he had achieved a massive viewership milestone because of them.

Buying islands is no joke, as it requires tons of money. However, there are a few tips and tricks that you can keep in mind once you start looking for one. And to explain it, we have the king of Youtube, MrBeast.

In the past few years, Jimmy has bought multiple islands for his video content. But still, he’s always eyed out for them with a low budget as he works on them with his own ideas. First, Jimmy says that all good islands cost over $10-$12 million, putting them out of question from his lookout.

Then come the bunch of islands that start from $800,000, which are the best picks for our man. MrBeast says, “you can find a sh**ty island for $800,000, literally with just rocks and trees on it.” These islands come off as an easy investment as the content creator then adds ‘some sand, some trees, a house, and some sheds around it.’

MrBeast claims to spend a million or two for the development, which still sums around far less than the pricey islands. Jimmy gives away islands as a gift so he always needs to look out for ideas to save his money.
